• Congratulations Mark DeClouet          The Louisiana State Referee Committee is proud to announce that Mark Declouet has been selected as this year's recipient of the David Montreuil Amateur Referee of the year award. This award is named in the honor of David Montreuil, a grade 05 referee who died suddenly in an accident in Dec 2006. Dave was a solid amateur referee, a regular referee at regional tournaments and was always willing to lend a hand to any referee at any time.
  
  The recipient of the award is someone who referees amateur games on a regular basis at a high level and is a friend to his/her fellow referees. They are unselfish in the way they work with their fellow referees and are always willing to lend a hand to support their fellow referees. Mark certainly embodies these principles.
